Ok, i had a discussion with someone today about this, do you think a person is born gay??

I dont think so, jsut like you choose to be vergetarian or not to be this is a choise you make!

people can't choose who they're attracted too. people that are truely homosexual and not just following the trend, im pretty sure they didn't wake up one moring thinking "you know what? i think i'l go for the same sex relationships from now on."

no that isn't what i meant. i meant that people don't choose to be gay, and they are born that way.

i have alot of gay friends and definatly no there not born gay one of my gay friends i asked him how he figured out he was gay and he sed at first he thought nothing of it but then all of us started getting girlfriends and he tryed a few girls out and he wasnt attracted to them so we told him about gay people so he tryed asking out guy and theyve been dating a couple yrs and no u shouldnt defend gay people just dnt make fun of them for being gay there nutin wrong wit it

what, so you think that all homosexuals want to be gay? even those with parents that completely disagree and disown them? and murderers are murderers because something in their head isn't quite right and they think they can take someone elses life. stupid people are stupid because of genetics, or the aren't motivated to learn. same with smart people, but in that case they are motivated to learn.  homosexuals are homosexuals because they are physically attracted to the same sex. can you choose to be gay right now? can you look at a porno picture of someone of the same sex and make yourself horny?  i don't think so.

I agree with courtney, I don't think that those who are homosexual have become so spontaneously.  I think it's caused by a chemical imbalance or something in them.  I've heard of it somewhere where someone was gay because of some trauma that caused some imbalance in them before they were born when their mother was in a car accident.  I think it was in the newspaper or something.

But I think that if you aren't gay when you're born, a person can become gay by an imbalance brought about by something else, but I'd think it would be gradual over time that they would realize that they are gay, perhaps it would start with slight interest in the opposite sex and then, over a certain amount of time, they would acknowledge their homosexuality.

And what exactly ar you talking about? "do you think that all homosexuals want to be gay?" , no actually i think when two men have sex  there would be a gun pointed to there heads!!! murderers are murderers because they've been through some bad situations in their life which made their head not right ( It's not an excuse for murderers though).look Courtney it's not personal but your whole system of reasoning is completely wrong , if not broken actually , it's very hard for me to argue with a person who have no logic to argue with. sorry if i offended you but it's the truth. Oh good God.........I'm not comparing between them , i meant that both have serious psychological issues but those psychological issues came up to the surface in different shapes , the murderer translated his sick mind in the shape of crimes , while the homosexual translated his sick mind with a d*ck inside his a**! all clear now? , ok then Goodbye.

There is another point i forgot to mention : i have heard of many homos returned to be straight again , and many people were straight and became homos which is another proof that no one is born  homosexual.

it doesn't matter anyways. seems like everyone who posts here is simply unwilling to open their minds to other peoples opinions. and since this was started by someone who is against gays and only likes to hear from others who are against gays, this discussion is biased.
