Ever heard about Hannah Bond? The little girl who committed suicide and whose parents blamed My Chemical Romance for it? That, my friends, is what I call crap. In more ways than one, the whole "emo" thing is getting on my nerves. It seems that if you wear black, you're emo. If you don't smile a lot, you're emo. You listen to MCR? YOU'RE SO EMO! I don't know what emo is and I don't really care. But I do care when my favorite band gets blamed for something that has nothing to do with them. My Chem is apparently emo because of the metaphor of death in many of their songs. But that's what it is; a metaphor. If little girls who can't handle mature themes goes and listens to a very serious song and then freaks out and does something dumb, it's not the band's fault! The band never said "Hey, you suck, go kill yourself." and if they did, why would anyone listen to them? It's just a band, for Pete's sake! The only message MCR is trying to spread is for kids not to be sucked in by stupid stereotypes (like, say, I dunno...emo? oh! that one fits!) and to not take other people's crap. This whole "emo" thing is going way too far, and everyone knows it. The media wants SOMEBODY to blame. Of course they don't blame themselves even though they ARE to blame for creating the whole idea that "emo" isn't just a type of music. Well then, who CAN they blame? Nobody. So the closest thing to "nobody" is anyone who's different from what they're used to. Bands like My Chemical Romance, who ARE different but popular at the same time. Of course, it's THEIR fault that some 13 year old girl who they didn't even know, who obviously had some problems that her parents noticed (and did nothing about) killed herself. "I think emo is F*cking garbage, it's bullsh*t. I think there's bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo. All I can say is anyone actually listening to the records, put the records next to each other and listen to them and there's actually no similarities. I think emo's a pile of sh*t." --Gerard Way... STOP LUMPING MCR! It's pointless stuff like this that leads to suicide.

    hey..the Hannah Bond girl was 13, right? pshh..ppl are so terrible these days...My Chemical Romance did NOT tell her to become emo, slit her wrists, and hang herself...(sigh) therefore u can't blame them...it was all her..

    hehe i only like the song "monsoon" for tokio hotel. people are gonna kill me for saying this but i think they kinda look like girls :P but that would be awesome like imagine tokia hotel and the used performing together. woah i cant imagine how they would have heard u saying anything! there must have been girls jumping all over them! ahhh i get just as defensive about MCR. prolly cuz every1 is always bagging on them and all theyre doing is trying to entertain. laterzz!
